Adding Insult to Injury

Or, I suppose I could have just as easily titled this brief post, "Death by Frozen Bean & Cheese Burrito." When am I going to learn that to open the freezer door means I need to be on the lookout for the bright yellow sign with the black lettering that says, "WATCH FOR FALLING ROCKS"...? I mean, when items are in the freezer, regardless of their natural state, they're FROZEN, right? They're solid, right? Therefore, the could be considered rocks, right? Tell that to the package of frozen bean and cheese burritos that fell squarely on the big toe of my left foot about 10 minutes ago. There must be something wrong with me. Stupid toe. Stupid burritos. Yeah you having me rolling with each new mishap! You are a sitcom girlfriend! Your toe has seemed to get the brunt of it if I remember correctly. Hope you have a better day tomorrow with no injury's!

Sounds like a burrito ban is in order. Did you ice your toe with frozen peas?

Karrie - that's fine. I'm OK with people laughing at my expense! Go ahead, laugh it up! :)

L&W - Yes, I seem to be full of mishaps! I'm glad someone can see the humor in them, especially when I can't!

Life w/ Dogs - I'd be happy to ban the burritos from the home, but I think my Hubby would have something to say about that! And no, I didn't ice my toe with frozen peas - although that is something I would do. I was kind of over frozen items at that point!

LOL, for me it is the yellow smily face round ice packs that go in my lunch cooler. They always scoot out and dive for the floor like little yellow missiles. Unfortunately for the cats their bowls are in proximity to the freezer and sometimes the projectile takes out Mouse as she is trying to eat. No wonder Simba is so jumpy when i got to make dinner while he is still eating...
