There's something about watching a
movie adaptation of a
Jane Austen novel with a
girlfriend that is so incredibly soothing.
...and having your nails painted.
...and eating chocolate covered strawberries until you feel ill.

Oh - and playing with all the craft stuff you found in the storage building! I made the first greeting card I've made in about 5 years! I didn't have the right glue so I made due with what I had and, though the card turned out OK, I'm unhappy about the obvious glue dots around the edge of the green mulberry paper. But hey, I guess for a first try in 5 years, it's not
too terrible. Still, I am an admitted perfectionist, and when I have a vision in my head of the way something
should be and it doesn't turn out that way, I'll also admit to disappointment.
But, I did find my embossing tool! This is a very special thing because I just love the way embossed stamps look! Now I just have to find a decent clear embossing pad because the one I have leaves much to be desired. Any ideas?
The inside of this card is a simple stamp that says, "Life's most beautiful things are not seen with the eyes, but felt with the heart."
